Oral Surgery Overview
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a specialty of Dentistry that requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Kiken manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, jaws and facial regions. Dr. Kiken practices an expanded scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with expertise ranging from surgical removal of teeth to full reconstruction of the face.
Today, dental implants are a large part of our practice.
Dr. Kiken diagnoses and treats facial pain, all facial and dental facial injuries and TMJ disorders and performs a full range of dental implant procedures to correct oral and maxillofacial issues. All procedures are performed in our state of the art office. You can opt for general anesthesia to be asleep during your procedure or local anesthesia to be awake.
Dr. Kiken’s surgical staff members are all experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants. They assist with anesthesia and surgery. All staff members are informed, administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
